Background Information: The Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) has recommended an update to Board Policy #3.600 – Insurance Management. Public Chapter 991 requires LEAs to maintain liability insurance for students participating in work-based learning. The Board’s current policy is included for your reference. Staff Recommendation: I recommend approval of the above-noted amendment to Board Policy #3.600 for the first reading. |
